Mymonero wallet can't transfer funds

Hi everyone,

Admins, I'm really sorry for this question has been already answered. However I'm experiencing a lot of problems when it comes time to transfer XMR out of the Mymonero wallet. I can transfer in to MyMonero wallet without a drama, but trying to get it out is a major issue.

This is what I've tried:

  1. I've emailed support, to which I'm not getting any answers to my questions
  2. I've tried sending XMR to an exchange wallet (Brittrix), but sending payment times out and fails to send
  3. I've tried sending XMR to GUI wallet, which was recommended to the official XMR page - still no luck
  4. I've tried send XMR to the living room of satoshi, but again no luck.

I'm using the 'send' function of the Mymonero wallet

Any other suggestions out there?

What error do you receive when attempting to send? Does mymonero calculate fees before or after entering amount to send? Did you calculate the fees and subtract it from amount to send? Monero GUI installation is working perfectly. https://getmonero.org/downloads/

Thanks so much for getting back to me. So here is the error I keep getting:

"Failed to get unspent outs"

Regarding fees.....it isn't calculating them before or after entering amount to be sent - I'm thinking that this was a bit weird, right?

Now with GUI wallet, I'm getting "The payment ID you've entered is not vaild", when I'm trying to transfer from MyMonero to GUI Wallet

Here is a solution to your issue: failed to get unspent outs

Try importing your wallet into the GUI.

  1. Download the GUI from here -> https://getmonero.org/downloads/
  2. Follow this guide: https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/3775/how-to-restore-a-monero-wallet-from-private-keys
  3. If you want quick access to your funds, use a remote node -> https://moneroworld.com/#nodes

The GUI has an option to "sweep" / send your whole balance.

Firstly..thank you so much to all who have helped with giving info so far. I'll try what you've mentioned as a possible solution. I'll report back on what the outcome is. Just a matter of interest, does this usually happen - meaning does this typenof error occur? I mean I'm not upset or anything, as i have full faith in you guys, but it seems a bit hard too deal with when compared to other wallets? But then again when cold storage is developed, then i guess we'll be using that more than web based wallet right lol
