Hi I recently downloaded the lightweight wallet. I was unaware what daemon is and i assume there is some command line skill required to use this. anyway i sent some Monero to my address(which i have the 25 word backup seed to) and coins aren't showing up in the wallet. It says i have no daemon connection. the wallet has yet to sync. can anybody out there help me recover the coins? and for a small reward explain what is happening, and why the wallet won't sync. thanks
It sounds like you're missing some files that LightWallet requires in order to connect and sync itself up.
Just download and unzip Monero 0.9.1.0 Hydrogen Helix, copy simplewallet.exe, libeay32.dll, libwinpthread-1.dll, and ssleay32.dll then paste those files into your LightWallet folder. Once you've done that LightWallet should be able to sync itself up and display your funds.
You mightn't need all those .dll files but it can't hurt the copy them all. ;)
