I've opened this thread to hopefully get a discussion rolling on how we the community can put a stop to illegal bots (Running on anything from Tv's to Tablets). (I don't have a problem with legal bots that is,could well be a fix)
A few ideas to get the ball rolling:
.Additional verification to daemons as required by pools and solo miners. .Providing some kind of incentive to pool hosts for taking steps to validate their miners. .Hardware serial number/OS version encoding .Regular Captcha-like or licensing verification , de-sensitize certain abusing behaviors etc.

I would love to promote and assist in funding this idea. A place we could start would be to delete the bots in the getmonero.org forum! Let's work together to get this done. Those that know me know how to reach me. Lots of great things to come!
