XMR & Cigars

There's legislation in the works in the US that would effectively double the price of a poor mans nice cigars if passed. For those who aren't rich but love a good smoke there are plenty of options between the $2.50 & $5 mark. My understanding was that this legislation would impost like a $5 tax onto each stick.

Reading the above article I just can't help but wonder "How much more room for wealth, and how much cheaper could I get awesome cigars if there are no taxes?" For what it's worth I don't get involved in tax dodging but a little person inside of me cheers every time I see the little man breaking the rules & getting rich off his own efforts rather than sending the money in to Uncle Sam.

Regulation is friction to free trade, taxes are suffocation to free trade. In addition to this countries like China like to clamp down and keep outflow of wealth controlled. Uses for XMR or a truly anonymous currency with 2 - 20 times the fiat volume per day of bitcion would give weapons to those who are willing to risk free trade to increase their wealth.

From meth dealers (what crypto nut has watched breaking bad with the cash and not thought ... this dude needs local bitcoins on steroids. Or maybe just drop a few million on ASICs.) To cigar manufacturers. To people trying to get money out of their country (China). These are some rambling thoughts.

I'm not a big rptellia fan. I don't like the emission curve of Monero. I think it may be overbought by whales. But I STILL think the opportunity for actually changing the world by putting anonymity, liquidity & convenience in the hands of those who want to carry on frictionless trade and commerce is a hugely exciting opportunity. & even with it's problems XMR is leading in the race.

P.S. I just ordered a dozen Undercrown Flying Pigs which are impossible to get (took me months). If anybody wants some for 2.5X the retail price in XMR drop me a line :)
