It's the right place. Unfortunately it's not the right hardware. Mining on a laptop will extremely shorten the lifespan of your device. Don't do that.

Hey I'm pretty much completely new to crypto mining. After reading several sources over the course of a few days, I think, Monero is a good choice for my current hardware.
I run Windows 10 on an Intel i7-6700HQ cpu with 2.6 GHz. I have one Nvidia GTX 960M running. Is it a good decision to use the xmr stak nvidia master? Is this the right place to ask for help setting it up?
