Hardware suggestions

Though I've been in crypto since 2012, I've never mined nor know much about it. Is there a resource you can link to or any suggestions on hardware to get? The other thread on this is from 2014 so i figure its time fora new one.

Apparently it is still really intensive for gpu so i have hard from a mening vriend from canada

I remember when Bitcoin started and people depended on Graphic Cards, not their CPU, for mining blockchains. I would assume the same would hold true for Monero. You can buy a top of the line GPU for a few hundred bucks.
