?? Email identifier for login ??

I'm new, just trying to learn how mining works. "testing the waters".

I have a machine with CentOS 7 & xmr-stak-cpu. I downloaded monero gui wallet and set the wallet up on a windows machine. I have a wallet address. I can confirm @ xmrpool.net & using my wallet address, via the live event funtion. I am mining @ 24 h/s(slow, I know.)

When I attempt to log in, xmrpool.net wants something Called an "Email identifier" as the password to log in. Checked the noted "getting started" section, I couldn't find any answers.

Can someone point me in the correct direction? thank you.

Try asking here: https://xmrpool.net/#/help/chat

Did you check your registered email? Perhaps it's an email activation code of some sort?

That link is Bogus. Already tried that. It's not an email thing.

The help text @ login referenced Getting Started page for help. towards the bottom it has some text commands, I cant figure out how it generates the password. I'm not sure how it applies.

Ahh. These are parameters that you enter in your config.txt file

Username format : address.paymentID+FixedDifficulty Password Format : MinerIdentifier:Email

For example:

"pool_password" : "rig1:[email protected]",

The values are entirely up to you.
