I would like to read something regarding the technical details of monero that more or less correspond to the following in Bitcoin. Could someone please guide me to some online resources.

cryptography involving private/public keys and bitcoin addresses (how the three are linked together) structure of transactions/blocks use of sha256 in bitcoin etc.

Please note that I am not a programmer, but rather have an academic interest in cryptocurrencies
