Name the Next Monero Release!

Thanks to the hard work of @palexander we have a list of elements in order, and a list of galaxies / stars / constellations / Messier objects to help us name the next release. Here are the options:

  • Monero 0.9: Hydrogen Hercules
  • Monero 0.9: Hydrogen Horologium
  • Monero 0.9: Hydrogen Hydra
  • Monero 0.9: Hydrogen Hydrus
  • Monero 0.9: Hydrogen Haedi
  • Monero 0.9: Hydrogen Hassaleh
  • Monero 0.9: Hydrogen Helix

Feel free to shout about which one you prefer, and we'll make a decision based on community input over the next few days:)

So let's go for "Hydrogen Hercules", and next release "Helium Helix" which off the tongue is amazing?

hydrogen helix.

hercules might have a face value thing, but helix is powerful. the structure that orders our dna. spirals of spirals. 0.9 will bring it all together, it will be the backbone of a new era for monero. 0.9 will lay the genetic blueprint of how monero will grow. helix is obvious!!!

I agree with the thought of palexander in that helix roles off the tongue but Hercules is more meaningful.

Hydrogen Helix rolls of the tongue the best, but I prefer Hydrogen Hercules since it seems to have more meaning to this release. (Its taken a decent amount of effort to get to this point in the development of Monero).

As this release stands for doing most of the "heavy weight lifting" affecting numerous milestones ahead, I vote for Hercules.
