I have taken a look at the Rootstock project http://www.rsk.co/ It looks very interesting. A sidechain to the Bitcoin blockchain that provides an Ethereum compatible virtual machine for smart contracts integration. It provides 2 way pegs, and drivechain.

Wouldn't it be great if Rootstock (or a fork) could be a Monero side chain?
