Monero will be 6 months old next week and we'll reach a total of 4 million XMR in the wild before that. At this point, I thought it might be useful to look ahead at some future landmarks coming up (assuming the current emission schedule).

Some time in December, we'll reach 5 million XMR, and the monthly increase in supply will fall to below 10% of the supply (i.e. < 500k).

When Monero reaches its first birthday in April 2015, there will be more than 7 million XMR, with the monthly increase rate down to 6%.

By this time next year, we should be just coming up to 10 million XMR, with a monthly increase of around 3.5%.

In April 2016, at 2 years old, there will be around 12 million XMR, with a monthly increase around 2.25%.

In April 2017, there should be over 14 million XMR, with the monthly increase rate down to just over 1%.
